What is the Board of Directors?
Community Child Care Center is a nonprofit organization that is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is an all volunteer board and is made up of family members of both past and present students, and community members. The Center Director works closely with the board in an advisory capacity. The Board of Directors is responsible for the policies and financial aspects of Community Child Care Center.
When does the BOD meet?
Regular meetings of the Board are held at 6:45 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the center. Written minutes from the regular meetings are distributed to the Board members after each meeting.
How can you get involved?
The Board of Directors is always looking for new members to join the Board or attend meetings. Our goal is to provide a safe and secure learning environment for the children who attend the center while fostering their emotional, social, physical, and intellectual developement through play and hands on activities.
