CCCC Lunch Program

Community Child Care Center prides itself on serving a diverse group of children. Twenty-five percent of the children enrolled in our programs qualify for child care subsidy due to their low income classification. This also qualifies these children for free or reduced price meal programs that many people are aware of through the public school system. In our programs, we serve breakfast, lunch and a snack. These are all prepared onsite in our own kitchen.

CCCC participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), a Federal program that provides partial financial reimbursment for healthy meals and snacks to children receiving care.

This program follows meal requirements established by the USDA.

Below, is an example of what a typical meal would consist of under this program:

Breakfast

  • Milk
  • Fruit or vegetable
  • Grains or Bread

Lunch or Supper

  • Grains or Bread
  • Two different servings of fruit or vegetables
