Miss Liz
Director
Liz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and has been part of the Community Child Care Center since 2011, taking on various roles throughout her tenure. She has served as the Director since 2023. Liz is passionate about fostering honest and open communication, believing that strong relationships with families empower children to thrive both now and in the future.

Miss Courtney
Curriculum and Learning Coordinator
Courtney has been with us since 2014. During her time here, she earned her Bachelor's in Early Childhood and has been the lead teacher in almost every room in the center. After being a classroom teacher for 22 years, she has taken on a new role focused on training and assisting classroom teachers with children's needs, challenging behaviors, and lesson planning. Courtney is passionate about helping children who struggle learn the skills to be successful.
Miss Kayla
School Age Coordinator
Kayla joined our team in 2025 as the School Age Program Coordinator and teacher in our Grey Owl (school age) room. She has been in the childcare field since 2014 and has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as an Administration Credential. Kayla is a passionate educator dedicated to fostering creativity and exploration in the classroom.
Miss Mandy
Lead Teacher
Mandy is the lead teacher in our Bunting (infant) room and has been with us since 2014. She earned her Infant Mental Health Endorsement thru WI-AIMH in 2023 and strives to create environments where children feel loved and supported, laying a strong foundation for their development.​
Miss Haley
Assistant Teacher
Miss Haley is the assistant teacher in our Bunting (infant) room. She has been in childcare since 2012 and with us since 2025. Haley is a dedicated educator with experience working with children of all ages, including cooking for them! She values the relationships and connections built with each child, believing that these bonds are essential to their growth and development.
Miss Hollin
LeadTeacher
Hollin is the lead teacher in our Wren (older infant & younger toddler) room and has been with us since 2016. She strives to inspire a love for reading that lasts a lifetime. Hollin also encourages the children to think freely and creatively through art starting at an early age.
Miss Alyssa
Assistant Teacher
Alyssa is assistant teacher in our Wren (older infant & younger toddler) room and has been with us since 2021. With four children of her own she is committed to nurturing a positive and protective space for all children in our care. Alyssa believes that a strong focus on safety allows children to thrive and explore their potential.

Miss Eryka
Assistant Teacher

Eryka is the assistant teacher in our Finch (older toddler) room. She has been working in childcare since 2004 and with us since 2024. In addition to her childcare experience, she is a behavioral technician. With a deep understanding of child behavior and development, Eryka is dedicated to providing tailored support to each child's unique needs.

Miss Bethany
Lead Teacher
Bethany is lead teacher in our Chickadee (2 year old) room and has been with us since 2025.
She earned her Psychology Degree in 2010 and is furthering her education in Early Childhood Education at this time. Bethany believes enjoying life is important so strives to keep children happy and active by dancing with them in the classroom. Watching children succeed and grow brings her immense joy and fulfillment.
Miss Michaela
Assistant Teacher
Michaela is assistant teacher in our Chickadee (2 Year Old) room and has been with us since 2022. She loves spending time outdoors with the children, engaging them in nature walks and scavenger hunts. Michaela also enjoys helping them explore their creativity through art and other fun and meaningful ways.
Miss Mariana
Lead Teacher
Mariana is lead teacher in our Robin (3 year old) Room and has been with us since 2024. She earned her Bachelor in Education and Human Services Leadership in 2023 and also holds a certification in Early Childhood Education. Mariana values the importance of positive relationships in the classroom as well as respect for all.

Miss Margaret
Lead Teacher
Margaret is the lead teacher in our Spotted Owl (preschool) room and has been with us since 2025. She has a Bachelors Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation and an AAS degree in Early Childhood. While new to our team, she has worked in early childhood almost 20 years in family child care, at Head Start and in a group center.
Grey Owl Teachers
(5K - 12 years)
Miss Kayla is our lead school age teacher working with us year round. During the summer, she is supported by returning summer staff.
SUPPORT STAFF
Miss Lori
Multi-purpose Teacher
Lori first began working with us in 1973. After her retirement in 2019 she remained on our staff as an afternoon relief teacher in our Robin Room. Lori is passionate about sparking a child's imagination through the magic of books.
Miss Scarlett
Multi-purpose Teacher
Scarlett has been a member of our support staff since 2023. She is a senior at Lawrence University where she studies Psychology and Dance, and will graduate with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in somatic healing; dance movement theories & practice. Her favorite part about working in childcare is watching the development of each child and finds it rewarding when they become a little more independent and grow into themselves!
Miss Zeph
Multi-purpose Teacher
Zeph started with us in 2024, when she was in high school. Since graduating, she remains on as one of our support staff, filling in wherever she's needed. She believes that creativity can be found in every aspect of life, especially when it comes to expressing ourselves through style and nurturing young minds. Zeph is planning to be an International Fashion Stylist in the future.
Mr. Carter
Carter is has been with us since 2024 after he earned his Bachelors in Elementary Education.
He enjoys promoting creativity in children by offering age-appropriate crafts and materials.
Miss Angie
Food Service Coordinator
Angie has been preparing healthy homecooked meals for our center since 2015. She keeps on top of food safety rules and nutritional guidelines through classes with the CACFP. She has been cooking for large groups since her teens and enjoys trying new recipes and sharing them!
Miss Dakota
Food Service Support
Miss Dakota has been assisting in the kitchen and with cleaning around the center since 2016. In her free time she enjoys camping. While at the center she enjoys watching the kids grow and is always willing to give a wave or high-five to them!
Cleaning Support Staff
Mr. Aaron has been helping us with afternoon cleaning and food service support since 2017.
Mr. Josh has been helping us with after hours cleaning since 2025.
